What Civil Liberties Issues Do You Want to Work On?

It’s important that you have a say in what civil liberties issues are impacting your community. Board members of ACLU Nebraska have conducted two in-person focus groups to determine community needs and perceptions of ACLU in the last year. Groups of ACLU members and non-member community leaders were brought together in North Omaha and Fremont. In each meeting, board members listened to what ACLU Nebraska could do to improve service to unmet civil liberties needs.

Two more focus groups will be held in early 2011, with one in Kearney and one in South Omaha. If you are in either of those areas, please keep your eyes out for more information.
