LINCOLN - Sens. Richard Durbin (D-Ill.) and Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) introduced today the Development, Relief, and Education for Alien Minors (DREAM) Act.

Danielle Conrad, Executive Director of the ACLU of Nebraska, said:

“Thousands of young Nebraskans have been contributing to our economy and our communities since the DACA program was introduced. We hope that the strong bipartisan support that DREAMers have had in the Nebraska Legislature extends to our federal delegation. We urge Sen. Ben Sasse and Sen. Deb Fisher to cosponsor this legislation. The young Nebraskans who have shown leadership in our communities and at our legislature are watching and are again willing to speak up for the opportunity to give back to the Cornhusker State.”
