Each year, we commission an LGBTQ+ Nebraskan artist to create a design for us to share at Pride events around the state. We're excited to share our artwork for 2026 from artist Gabrielle Bronson. Their painting, "Joyous Resistance," is a colorful new addition to our ongoing Pride series. You’ll find it for free at Pride events around the state through June.
A rainbow of human figures stretches across the canvas. "Joyous Resistance" commemorates 2026's Pride season.

From Gabrielle:
"I am a queer and genderqueer Central Nebraskan artist that loves to capture the joys of life through acrylic paint. My self-taught artistic journey began when I was young, but flourished in recent years after finding home within my local LGBTQ+ community. Through my art, I seek to explore the simplicities of life, the struggles of identity, and the art of finding a home in one's body. Most recently, these themes are found in my studies of food and abstract human forms."
