Bio

Jane focuses on litigation and policy matters related to LGBTQ+ rights, voting rights and juvenile justice. As part of that work, she has made deep connections with communities across the state to ensure the rights and civil liberties of impacted Nebraskans are protected. Jane also works on open record litigation, a vital task to ensure our state government is transparent and truthful with the people of Nebraska.  

Most recently, Jane was an Assistant City Solicitor with the City of Philadelphia Law Department in the Code and Public Nuisance Litigation Unit where she represented the City of Philadelphia in enforcement actions of the Philadelphia building and health codes and litigated a high-volume caseload at the local, state and federal level.

Jane is a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and the University of Pennsylvania Law School where she was a law student representative in the Transnational Legal Clinic representing those seeking asylum. She was also a law student representative at the Criminal Defense Clinic.
