Summary

Join us for our annual meeting and a full-day activist training.

State troopers working for ICE. Government officials targeting our trans loved ones and neighbors. A resurgence of failed ‘tough on crime’ policies that harm our communities. Constant abuses of power.

The only way to meet this defining moment is by organizing and mobilizing everywhere. That is why we are turning our annual meeting into a Day of Power and Purpose on Saturday, Nov. 8th, in Kearney.

Where better than the center of our state and our country to amplify our efforts to turn things around? Join our team and friends from ACLU National to learn more about tools and tactics to help you organize effectively in your community, gain experience having persuasive conversations that move people to action, and build lasting connections with others who are ready to rise to the moment.

We will also celebrate Nebraska changemakers and preview the work ahead of us in a conversation on our new strategic plan that will guide us through the next three years.
