32 officers stormed the home of an Omaha family. Their property was destroyed and they suffered physical injuries - all because of a license plate infraction. A story like this might have gone without a response, but thankfully a neighbor witnessed the incident and turned on a camera.

As a teen, all I wanted was my friendships and relationships back.

Ask a teen what they want most and you might hear about the newest video game. When I started high school, I just wanted to be able to talk with my friends and family normally again.

Recent law enforcement training a positive step

As a retired law-enforcement officer with over 26 years of experience, I know that law enforcement officers must make split second decisions that frequently can save lives. These decisions can also endanger lives. With so much at stake, it is important that our officers on the street have robust training to help them make these split second decisions and that communities have full faith and trust in the officers tasked with keeping our communities safe.
